By measuring your footsteps and the distance you’ve travelled, a fitness tracker motivates you to perform better everyday. It also allows you to set goals. Say, you run 1 km the first week, then go up to 5 km, 10 km… You get the point. It gives you the motivation you need to cover the distance!

For the weight conscious people, the amount of calorie burnt is of great concern. Nearly all fitness trackers have this feature and help users track their calories burnt.

The Mi Band 3 also provides the weather forecast and has a heart rate sensor. You can even get the measure of your heart rate and consequently manage your anxiety levels and get some rest when required!

2. Use Wireless Earphones

Let’s be honest, there’s nothing worse than your earphone wires dangling from your ears and refusing to let you move freely! Whether you’re on a run or just out walking, wired earphones make a complete mess. Having a wireless earphone will help you immensely! You might prefer headphones, but earphones are less bulky.

Besides, wireless earphones have come a long way and they no longer have syncing issues. And if you didn’t know, smartphone companies have already started removing your beloved 3.5 mm headphone jack. So, wireless is the future!

Apple makes it really easy to connect their AirPods. You just need to open the case in which the AirPods are kept and it automatically shows up on your iPhone. This feature works only with an iPhone but AirPods in general work with Android phones too. If you are looking to buy a wireless earphone and use an iPhone, then you should definitely buy AirPods. They have fabulously balanced sound and work just so seamlessly! Finally, Siri integration is there and you can control your music by touching the headset itself. Whenever you go on a morning walk, you probably realise that it would’ve been better if you had left your phone at your home. A smartphone is too bulky to carry for a morning walk and even more troublesome during a run. It’s also very distracting. But in today’s world can you really keep your phone away from you? You would get cutoff from the digital world and even miss important calls from your boss. So, how can you ditch your smartphone without missing out on all these?

Apple Watches now have built-in cellular and you can make calls straight from it! They also support AirPods and allow you to save your songs from iTunes. Another, Apple Pay integration is also there. The Apple Watch is the most powerful little gadget and the only thing you’ll ever need while on a morning walk. But beware, it’ll only work if you have an iPhone! If you don’t, however, then the Mi Band 3 will be a good option for you. Fitbit Versa will be an even better option, actually!

The entire UI is user-friendly and it motivates the user to work harder by setting goals. Battery life is fine, water resistance – check, pedometer – check, heart rate monitoring along with blood-glucose level – check, cellular – check!

So you see, the Apple Watch is the complete package. Furthermore, you can have the simplicity of AirPods paired with it to make your run more interesting and even ditch your iPhone!
